Steve Hickman
Steve began his journey as a Christ follower in December 1977, as a freshman in high school, after accepting Jesus as his personal Savior. He is a baptized believer who has grown in his faith over the past 40+ years and has a passion to know Jesus and help others know Him personally.
Steve and his wife Traci will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary in February and have 3 grown children: Jessica, Rebecca, and Kyle.
After living in the west Houston area for 40 years, Steve accepted a position at an Austin-based software firm, and he and Traci relocated to the Leander area, where they have attended North Way Bible Church for the past 9 years. Both Steve and Traci have served in the BackYard Bible Club ministry, Re|Engage ministry, youth ministry, and currently co-lead a community group. Steve has served as an elder before from 2020 to 2023, and currently serves on the worship team.

Akin is currently serving on our elder board and will be extending his term for 1 year.
