Every Tribe,
Every Tongue
Come away with us for a weekend of laughter and love in the beauty of the Hill Country at Camp Buckner! We invite you to join us as we gather together as sisters in Christ to worship, learn, share, and play while we enjoy a much needed breather from the busyness and demands of our weekly schedules. We have a special weekend planned that we hope will grow our hearts bigger and bigger to embrace the beautiful variety of women God has brought to North Way Bible Church and to our community! We don’t have the same story or skin tone or language or personality but we ALL call him Lord, and we call each other family! See you there!

Important Reminders:
Texas and critters!
There is always a chance to run into some snakes out at camp, even though it is getting colder outside. We have seen a good handful of our slithering friends on camp of various species. We encourage everyone to:
Keep their EARS and EYES open at all times on camp!
Mak use of flashlights when walking the camp at night
Though we hope in never happens, In the event of a snake bite:
CALL 911 and then contact Camp Staff
Make sure the threat is either eliminated or removed from the area
(if possible, have someone SAFELY get a picture of the snake to identify it’s species)
Keep the victim calm and cool. A slow heart rate is the goal. Do not attempt to move them other than to drag them out of the sun if necessary.
DO NOT APPLY A TURNICATE OR PRESSURE. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO “SUCK OUT” THE VENOM
If you can find a marker or pen, circle the bite area and write the time.
By this time, emergency responders should have arrived. (They are two miles from camp)
Parking!
As a camp we are taking a stricter approach to parking. Keeping cars in appropriate parking lots maintains the safety of our pedestrians and maintains access for emergency vehicles to all buildings.
There are THREE appropriate parking lots. The large lot by the front office, the back lot next to The Lodge, and the grass parking area next to the Boys Ranch Meeting Room. (See Camp Map for more details)
Guests are to unload their vehicles at their cabins or hotel rooms, then move all vehicles to one of the three approved lots.
Guests with mobility issues are welcome to park in more close locations, so long as they maintain an access point for emergency vehicles.
Dining at Manna Hall!
If you have any dietary restrictions, we ask that you wear the wrist bands provided at arrival and MOVE TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE!
Consider other groups!
Observe quiet hours from 12am-7am
Pick up your trash on campus. There are trash cans all over campus, please do not throw your trash on the ground.
